"Conveyor belt vision testing "

I have very mild shortsightedness, in fact it's so mild my vision has changed by .25 in 20 yrs. so how can such a cattle market / conveyor belt system have got it wrong !! The girls out the front are very much sales girls ..not what I want from an optician .
