A review of National Tyres & Autocare by David Burton written on Sunday 19th of March 2017
I had a very small puncture from a very small screw, in a nearly new tyre. It was in the centre of the tread, nowhere near a sidewall (which I know is a no-no)and the tyre had deflated overnight, so never run flat to damage the inside. The fitter attempted to persuade me that it could not be fixed - 'can you see the cords around the screw penetration ?' . well no I could not. So I cut my losses of waiting 30m for this bad assessment and said I would take a second opinion from another (very large and reputable) tyre fitter in central Maidstone. (think Lewis Hamilton ;-) I made doubly sure with them that the repair was safe and straightforward, which they assured me it was. Job done ! I strongly recommend that you do not take a straightforward puncture to this dealership. They just want to sell you new tyres. If they reply saying safety first, blah blah blah, (in my case I mean) don't believe them. If any doubt get a second opinion..
