Maidstone has three radio stations: Heart Kent (previously Invicta Sound), Hospital Radio Maidstone (one of the UK’s longest serving hospital radio stations) and KMFM Maidstone (formerly CTR).
Maidstone is served by a few newspaper publishers - the most popular titles are Yourmaidstone, Maidstone Extra and the Maidstone edition of the Kent Messenger.
Maidstone Studios, located in Vinters Park, is an independent television production base that was once home to the former ITV company TVS.
